Reservation Software Changes

Mazevo is our new reservations software system designed to enhance your experience. It aligns with the Student Center’s mission of improving the student and UA community experience by offering space and services that foster community, develop leaders, support programs, and promote student learning, development, and inclusion.

Login to Mazevo

We strive to process all requests promptly, but please understand that approval for reservation requests may take up to 24 hours. Moreover, first-time users must receive approval from the reservations office and be assigned to their organization or department before they can begin making requests. Once your login request is approved, you can proceed to submit your reservation requests without delay.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log in?

  1. Visit the Mazevo login page.
  2. Enter your “MyBama” log-in credentials and click Log In.

How do I make a request?

  1. Once you log-in to Mazevo, click the “Add New Request” link and follow the prompts to specify the details of your request
  2. Once you have inputted all the details for your event, click “Submit” to send your “Request” to the Student Center

Once I submit my request, what are the next steps?

  1. You will get an email from Mazevo saying that your event has been requested and you can also view the status of your event in Mazevo by going to “My Events” under the “Request” tab
  2. Following a review from a representative from the Student Center, your event will be either confirmed or denied
    • For Student Organizations, final confirmation will not be granted until approval is given from “MySource”, but you will receive a “hold” notice.
  3. Then an email informing you of the status of your event will be sent to you following the confirmation or denial from a representative of the Student Center

How can I get added to my organization as a contact?

Just email the reservations office to get added to your organization.

Why is the room I’m looking for not showing up on the list of available rooms?

This can happen for many reasons:

  • The room you are requesting is not available for the date and time frame you selected.
  • You are trying to book a space after the window you are allowed to book
  • All rooms have minimum and maximum occupancy loads. Attendance cannot exceed the maximum occupancy load. If a room you are searching for does not appear, it is possible the capacity cannot accommodate your request.
  • The room you are requesting my not be available to you based on your organization type.

What does the status of my event mean?

Requested
Your request has been submitted but has not been reviewed.
Confirmed
Your event has been confirmed and no other details are required.
Denied
Your event has been denied. Please contact Reservations Office with any questions.
Conflict
Your event has a conflict with a previous booking.
Cancelled with charges
Your event has been cancelled but charges will still be invoiced due to the limited amount of notice of cancellation.
Cancelled
Your event has been cancelled and charges will not incur.

Are there anymore everyday users or guest?

No, all users are able to log-in with their MyBama credentials.

How can I cancel my reservation?

  1. Log-in to your MyMazevo account and go to “My Events” and click on date(s) and select “Cancel.”

How can I make changes to my reservation?

  1. Log-in to your MyMazevo account and go to “My Events” and click on date(s) and select which event you need to make changes to selected event.
    • All changes have to be approved by a representative from the Student Center.
